In 1982 members Dax Butler, Mick Hope-Bailie and Gavyn (Mojo) Stevens of ‘The Other Band’ formed an experimental collaboration called ‘Nude Red’. After a successful debut at the ‘No Nukes’ concert in Cape Town, their previous bassist Larry Jenkinson re-joined; The Other Band now morphed into 'Nude Red' They continued to pursue their African influences, and in 1985 recorded ‘Discords n Dat Chords’
